TIPO ’00’ takes up the artist’s exacting and playful investigations into space and form, culminating in a ring that is at once commonplace and outrageous, precious and provocative. Each edition of this wearable sculpture has been hand-finished by the artist in fine jeweller’s brass, and plated in 22ct yellow gold.

Lauren Godfrey (b.1989, UK) is an artist based in London. Her work invites interaction and collaboration, with outcomes that veer from the totally whimsical to the quasi-useful. Drawing on broad influences, from Seinfield to Matisse, Memphis to deco, Godfrey’s playful use of colour and exacting sense of form is unmistakeable. Recent exhibitions and collaborations include Hidden Harlequin with Lauren Coullard at Centre For Recent Drawing, London; Alimentari solo show at Geddes Gallery, London; House Work, 53 Beck Road, curated by Art Licks; Doing Easy, Outpost Projects, Joshua Tree. Godfrey was in residence at Triangle, New York in 2016 and Kingsgate Workshops, London in 2015, she is a studio holder at Gasworks, London.
